William Belknap Anderson

William Belknap Anderson, 75, of Littleton, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on October 24th, 2017 in his home. He was born in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado on July 13th, 1942 to Robert and Mary Lou Anderson. Bill is survived by his wife, Kathy, his sons, Brad and Patrick, and three grandchildren: Morgen, Isabelle, and Peter. Bill grew up in Colorado Springs, where he attended high school. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree, and completed a master’s of taxation degree from the University of Denver. Bill was a CPA and worked for several firms throughout his career. He had a love of understanding tax regulations and was a resource to many. Foremost, Bill loved skiing and instructing with the Eskimo Ski Club. He was involved with the club for more than 50 years and was a clinic leader for the club’s instructors. He was a certified instructor with the Professional Ski Instructors of America and could outski his younger instructor counterparts and friends. He knew the Winter Park Ski Resort like the back of his hand. Bill had numerous other interests throughout his life; flying, cycling, and amateur radio to name a few. He was a private airplane pilot and the infamous CEO of “Anderson Airlines”. He became an avid cyclist and would participate in tours and rides throughout Colorado; a ride of 60 miles was not unusual. In lieu of flowers, Bill would be honored if a donation was made in his name to a charity of your choice……. Especially if it touched the life’s of kids. There will be a memorial service held at Abiding Hope Church, 6337 South Robb Way, Littleton, CO 80127, on November 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a reception after the service and a light lunch will be provided.
