December 17, 1927 - June 22, 2014 86, passed away June 22nd in Wheat Ridge, CO. Bill was born in Sophia, West Virginia, to James and Victoria Polk, in 1927 where he lived until he joined the Navy during WW II. Bill later joined the Army where he met his future wife, Elizabeth. After serving in Korea, Bill and Elizabeth married and settled in Fort Lupton, CO. Bill and Elizabeth relocated to Arvada where they lived for 52 years. Bill retired from Coors after 30 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Elizabeth; daughter Charlene; sons Dennis (Pam) and Michael. He is also survived by three grandsons, Patrick (Kelsey), Ryan (Joleen), Chris (Stephanie), and 3-month old great grandson Fischer. Graveside services to be held on Thursday, June 26th, 2014, 2:00 PM, at the Arvada Cemetery.
