Wesley Creager
January 21, 1932 – March 24, 2023
Wesley, fondly known as Wes, was born on January 21, 1932, and passed away on March 24,2023. Wes was a resident of Arvada, Colorado at the time of his passing. Wes grew up on the eastern plains of Colorado before the family moved to Cheyenne, WY, where in high school, Wes joined the ROTC program. After graduating from high school, Wes enrolled in the printing pressman apprenticeship program. Upon completion of the program, he enlisted in the United
States Navy. When his enlistment was complete, Wes began his career at Bell Press in Denver.
In 1958, Wesley wed Constance (Connie) Dunton. They were married for almost 65 years and together raised three boys. Wes and Connie settled in Arvada, CO with a brief residency in Great Falls, Montana. Wes enjoyed teaching his boys to hunt and fish. After retirement, Wes enjoyed cooking, travel, camping and his grandchildren.
Wes is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Lydia, and two brothers, Charles and Delbert. Wes is survived by his wife Connie and their three children, Gary (Karen), Mark, and David (Kris), six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 12735 W. 58th Avenue, Arvada, CO 80002 as follows: Rosary on Wednesday, April 5th at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral mass immediately following at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Project Healing Waters.
