Attended Officer Candidate School receiving rank of 2nd LT BN Scout Platoon Leader, then promoted to 1st LT Tank Company Executive Officer and promoted to Captain Tank Company Commander. Work Experience: My work experience throughout the years has been one of learning and applying those skills to new opportunities. I was raised (literally) in a cotton patch, beginning with farm labor and carpenter’s helper. I graduated Arlington High School and moved into the work force as an oil field pipe refurbisher. I knew this was not my calling, and moved on to vinyl upholstery with Falcon MFG Co. The real break came when I got a job at Tempco Aircraft completing ten years of service, and then began my college education. After receiving my degree, I worked 16 years with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals. My experience as a Sales Representative has been marked with a flawless track record of sales and management. I am one of the few who can boast of winning the Regional Salesman of the year, The Technical Representative of the year, and the Regional Manager of the Year. These are awarded on the national level from 38 competing regions. My success was earned with painstaking preparation, setting high goals and long days of hard and smart work, as well as coaching and helping others to grow and make things happen. My career path finalized with Martin Marietta Aerospace as a Project Manufacturing Engineer. As a Group Engineering Lead I had wonderful experiences working on the B-52 (Missiles), F-104 Wing (Helicopters), and finally working on manufacturing engineering to build spacecraft. My ability to work with high level people on high level projects was met with additional success of which I am proud to have been a part of. Having a combined total of 22 years in aerospace, I can attest to the wonderful, exciting and challenging nature of this industry that I have been blessed to be a part of. Blessings: My greatest blessing came at an early age, when my Lord, My Savior, My redeemer: Jesus Christ came into my life, along with God my Father and with the gift of the Holy Spirit have been guided by these my entire life. Being a Christian has given me strength and courage throughout my life. For me, it is a glorious thing to be a Christian, the most exalted privilege of mankind. My second greatest blessing came early also. At the grand old age of 21, I met and married my sweetheart Lois Jo Jackson. Truly, a match made in heaven. She is a beautiful Christian woman who has stood by my side and supported me for 66 years. Thank you, my sweetheart, for loving me and caring for me throughout our life together. So deep is my love for you. Love blooms in the heart, and my love for you is always in full bloom. Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Southern Gables Church 4001 S.
