June 22, 1948 - June 18, 2012 Walter Wesley Welch was born June 22, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Wallace and Rosaline Welch. His wife, Mary Lucero Welch and his father, Wallace Welch preceded Walter in death. Walter is survived by his mother Rosaline, son Jacob and sister Waldena. Walter graduated from Merritt Hutton High School in 1966. He served in the United States Army from 1967 - 1969 and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a pipe fitter and retired to the Pipe Fitters Union. Burial will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Monday, July 2, 2012 at 2:30 PM, Staging Area "B".
