November 23, 1956 - September 3, 2012 Virginia Rayna Place was born on November 23, 1956 in Sterling, CO to Luther and Amelia Price. Virginia loved animals, the beautiful Colorado mountains, and her family. She loved to knit, and to take as many pictures and videos of her loved ones as she could. She made an effort to ensure that every person knew how much she loved them. She enjoyed having gatherings for the holidays, and being surrounded by her family. Virginia was very proud of her career as a stay at home mom, as well as her time in the security department for Aurora Public Schools. She passed away in her home on September 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Place, her son, Clifton M. Place, and her brother, John Conley. She is survived by her brothers Steve, Allan, and Glen Price, as well as her sister, Terry Price; her daughter in law, Lisabeth Place, and her grandchildren, Melanie, Genesis, and Lucian. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces. A memorial will be held for Virginia on Sunday, October 7th, at 2:00 PM, in order to allow time for family who may travel in order to attend. It will be held at 26900 E. Colfax Avenue, Aurora CO. Virginias final wish was to have some of her ashes placed with her Husband and Son, and to be spread in the mountains, where Clifs ashes were spread. Virginia will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
