Virginia (Ginny) Josephine Boyden

Virginia (Ginny) Josephine Boyden, age 87, died at home peacefully in Golden, CO, on November 23, 2019. She was born in Hamilton County, NE to Harold and Gladys (Christenson) Wolff. Survivors include her husband, John Boyden, her children, Tarki (Mercy) Boyden, Torri (John) Raine, and Ted (Sinaro) Boyden, sisters Shirley Weedin and Thelma (Dick) Carlson, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Virginia went to Country School District 56, graduated from Aurora High School in 1949, and from Lincoln School of Commerce in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart, John Boyden, in 1952 at Elmendorf Air Force Base near Anchorage, Alaska. They lived in the Territory of Alaska, and in several states, Nebraska, Colorado, Indiana and Ohio, before moving back to Colorado. Virginia loved her family, her garden, reading, sewing and traveling, especially with John on their motorcycle. She will be greatly missed.
