July 10, 1922 - May 5, 2014 Virginia A. Bennett joined the Lord on May 5th, 2014. She was 91 years old. Virginia was born on July 10, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana to Anthony and Sophie Laskowski. She was raised in South Bend. She married and became the mother of her beloved son, Terrance "Terry" Rozanski. She later met her soul mate and beloved husband, Vaud Bennett Sr. They married and she became the loving mother to his four children. Her and her husband, Vaud, moved to Loveland, Colorado and later to Apache Junction, Arizona where he left to live with God and she moved to Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Throughout her life she worked in a dentist office in South Bend, helped her husband with his fishing rod business. She also was the loving mother, grand mother, great grand mother and aunt as well as best friend to everyone she met. She never stopped helping and caring for others. She was always doing anything she could for her friends and family and even in her last days was worried about her family and friends. She was preceeded in Death by her parents, Anthony and Sophie Laskowski, her step father Pete Cherpes, her beloved son, Terry Rozanski, her husband, Vaud Bennett, Sr, Step Son Vaud Bennett, Jr, Step daughter Joyce Chandler, Step daughter-in-law Patsy Bennett, Grandsons Zachery Bennett and Kalub Kapphan. She is survived by, Her Step brother, Jim (Marge) Andrzeizki. Her cousin Gert of Indiana. Her step son, Bob Bennett of Dillon, MT, step daughter, Susie Walker of Loveland, Colorado, step son-in-law Bob Chandler of Wheatridge, Colorado, step daughter-in-law Jannyce Bennett of Wyoming. "Adopted Daughter"- Donna Manley of Colorado. God-daughter, Evelyn (John) Rudd of Colorado, Grandsons: Neil Tracy (Audrey) of Colorado, Troy Bennett of Colorado, Tommy Bennett of Montana, Bob Bennett, Jr of Montana, David (Raina) Walker of Colorado, Chris ( Ann) Walker of Colorado. Grandaughters: Pamela Shrum of Colorado, Jana (Darren) Palmgrem of New Mexico, and Denice Kapphan of Wyoming. Great grandsons, Chad Shrum of Colorado, Josh McNeil of New Mexico, Dustin McNeil of Montana, Levi Bennett of Colorado, Kasey Bennett of Colorado, Chance Mayer of Montana, Liam Mayer of Montana, Duncan McNeil of New Mexico. Great Grand daughters, Rachel Tracy of Colorado, Helene McNeil of New Mexico, Shawneh Kapphan of Wyoming, Amannda Kapphan of Wyoming. She also is a Great Great Grandmother to: Charezia McNeil, Dezerah McNeil and Jeremiah McNeil all of New Mexico. Virginia never met a stranger and was a helper to everyone no matter how busy she was. She was a loving friend to talk to, always had a dry shoulder, never had idle hands and they were forever helping in one way or another. Her own struggles were not as important to her as were those of the ones she loved. She was a faithful member of the church throughout her life and knew she would meet Jesus. She will be missed by many as the memories she created will be cherished for eternity.
