Virgil John Mylander

Virgil John (John) Mylander was born October 20, 1962 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Clara and Virgil Mylander. John passed away at home on Friday, January 11, 2019. John was an avid fisherman and was happiest when he was at the lake reeling in the big ones. Growing up in the mountains in Gould, CO offered plenty of sunshine and fishing time! John spent his adult life living along the Front Range and spent the last few years working at the Egg & I in Arvada. He loved his job and they loved him. John is survived by his children Chairty (Jesse) Petrillo of Arvada, Jenelle (Cruz) Young of Windsor, Beth Kimsey of Las Vegas, Matt Mylander of Fort Collins, and step-daughter Heather Swain of Lake City, MN. He has 9 grandchildren. John is also survived by his siblings Robert Miller, Tom Miller, and Debbie Neff all of Fort Collins, and Cindy Burk of NC. He was proceeded in death by his parents. John was a very kind soul and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family has set up a Go Fund Me page for assistance with his final expenses.
