January 10, 1935 - December 12, 2013 Victoria H. Hanna died peacefully in her bed at Centennial Nursing Home in Greeley Colorado on Dec 12, 2013 at 5:40 pm, with her daughter, Frances, holding her hand and singing her lullabies as she slipped away. Thendara Victoria Sample was born on Jan 10, 1935 at Ft. Sill, OK. She is survived by her older brother, Edward Sample who lives in Hawaii; 4 children, Marie Hanna of Greeley, CO, Frances Norman of Longmont, CO, Richard Hanna of Payette, ID, and Beth Hanna of Springville, UT; 14 grand-children and 12 great-grand-children. Vicie was pre-deceased by her eldest child, Edward Charles Hanna, from Sanibel Island, FL, who died of colon cancer in May 2009. Vicie and her 5 children moved to LaVerne, CA, in 1966 after living in Europe for 5 years. Vicie was a nurse and worked at Hillcrest Homes for many years. She loved to take her 5 children camping, and she loved motorcycling. In 1993 she moved to Longmont, CO to be near her daughters where she lived until July 2012 when she moved to Greeley, CO to be near her eldest daughter.
