Valerie Kay Oglevie

February 22, 1964 ~ November 10, 2015 Valerie Kay Oglevie (Orslene), born Valerie Hudson on February 22, 1964, passed away on November 10, 2015 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. After graduating from Riverdale High School in 1981, she enlisted in the United States Air Force. She served four years in the military and left service to become a full-time Mom. She continued to work on her education and received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She was a Change Management Specialist for Kaiser Permanente but is most known for her big heart and love of rescue dogs. She volunteered her time with Arvada community search and rescue teams and at numerous pet-themed events. Valerie and her husband, Douglas, married May 1, 2009, loved to travel and sight-see and were able to spend several wonderful vacations together, enjoying the world. Valerie is survived by her husband, Douglas; her three children, Natasha, Latessa and Damian; and one grandson, Dean. No memorial services will be scheduled.
