47, of Arvada passed away on December 20, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 28, 1968 in Salida Colorado to Harold and Mary Sharpe Troy left behind a girlfriend of 20 years - Denise Kearns - who will always be grateful for him by always making sure that he had his family taken care of by having a roof over their heads, no worries for the little things. She will always remember Troy by his expression that he used of “Right On! or Life is Good.” He also, left behind a daughter - Brandi, 15 years old. Brandi has fond memories of her father being adventurous taking her on long bike rides through Arvada, or mountain paths. He lovingly referred to her as her “Little Honey” which stuck with her as a nickname with the family. He showed her how to be generous with those who were less fortunate by giving money to the homeless, or just even giving a hug to brighten their day. They spent almost every day together she loves Troy very much, and knows that he is still here by her side. Survivors also include: Sisters, Cheryl (Jack) Ehmann of Libby, Montana and Renee (Paul) Gilson of Buena Vista; and a niece, nephew, and a great-nieces. At Troy’s Request there will be no funeral services. He asked for everyone to live their lives to the fullest and to do what he always liked to do by, “Shining a light” onto others so that it can be passed on.
