Travis Lee Corning passed away on August 20, 2021 in Arvada, CO following health complications. He was a 1984 graduate of Alamosa High School and a 1988 graduate of Adams State University. He later returned to Adams State for his Master’s in Counseling. Travis loved collecting vinyl, listening to music, singing karaoke, and playing on any one of his guitars. He was a good artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. Travis often spent time with his family and he was the biggest cheerleader of his nieces and nephew. His sense of humor and infectious laughter will be greatly missed! Travis is survived by his father Gerald Corning, his siblings Michelle Corning Straight (Greg Straight), Blair Corning (Becky Dillon Corning), and Tammy Corning Glasby (Trent Glasby), nieces Bella Straight, Sophia Straight, Chloe Corning, and Braelyn Glasby and nephew Holden Corning. He was preceded in death by his mother Susanne Corning. A memorial will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00am at the Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home, 5400 Ward Rd, Arvada, CO 80002, building V, east side garden level. All are welcome to attend.
