March 25, 1980 - January 16, 2012 Thomas (Tommy) Lee Tryhorn 31, died January 16, 2012, at his residence in Arvada. Services were held January 21, 2012, 10:00 A.M., at Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette. Tommy had an enormous heart even at a young age. His Mom remembers when he was little he went to an estate sale and bought her a ring. He continued that as a tradition of buying her and his sister jewelry before the holidays. If he knew you liked something, you better look out because you just might end up with ten of them. Such as ten pairs of the same shoe, same size, and color. Also K-Mart cleared the aisle when there was a sale because he knew how to stretch a dollar! Tommy was well dressed, had a great sarcastic sense of humor; and was a strong man who would do anything for his Mom and sister, and family/friends. Anyone who knew him knows he loved Halloween and secretly loved Christmas for he got to show his love by buying gifts for others. Always thinking about others, caring and loving with all his heart, very passionate about the things he loved and believed. He was not afraid to be himself!!!! Tommy achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Production with a minor in Criminal Justice. He had an exceptional enjoyment of reading and of the entertainment world and shared a constant supply of movies, music and books with friends and family. He was employed at both Denver Health and Alpine Printing. Tommy was a man of strong convictions whose belief in God was unwavering. From an early age Tommy was a very strong, compassionate and responsible individual. Without being asked, he took on difficult tasks without a single complaint. He has always been a protector to his Mom and his Sister. We will forever have Tommy in our hearts. Contributions in Tommy's honor can be made to: - Ralston House - Step 13 - Huntington's Disease Society of America
