February 11, 1928 - December 13, 2012 Theodore “Ted” McGinnis of Thornton, Colorado passed away December 13, 2012. He was 84 years old. Ted was born on February 11, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to Theodore and Inez McGinnis. Preceded by his loving wife of 15 years; Clara McGinnis, parents; Theodore and Inez, sisters; Buelah and Katherine and nephew; Mark. Survived by 7 children; Tina (Mel) Taylor, Daphne (Keith) Walsh, Shane McGinnis, Cheyenne (Kristina) McGinnis, Bernadette McGinnis, Aubrey (Ericka) McGinnis and Kim (Billy) Jacob, 7 grandchildren; Bernadette, Shoni, Tiffany, Glen, Kyle, Braelah, Marinah, and Brea, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, brother; Ernest, and nieces and nephews. Ted's family was his life, but he also enjoyed building things, his family describes him as a true craftsman, a prayerful man, very spiritual… a very wise man. Memorial Service will be held Friday December 28, 2012, 11:00am, at Castle Rock Church of Christ (2247 5th Street, Castle Rock, CO), followed by a luncheon with the family.
