Suzanne K Pierce

In loving memory of Suzanne K. Pierce. Born in Waterloo, Iowa on September 15th 1951 to Donald and LaVonne Pierce . She moved to San Diego CA in her 20’s, then to Colorado, the place she called home where she worked as a CNA for hospice patients in the Golden area. She loved caring for people and was especially good at what she did. She was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2017. She valiantly fought her way through, enduring harsh courses of radiation and other cancer medications at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center. She passed away at St. Anthony hospital in Lakewood, Colorado on December 15 2018 No stranger to hardship, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Mark and Rodney; and sister, Sheryl. She was survived by her now deceased son, Michael, a sister in San Diego (Donna), a sister-in-law (Jane Pierce of Iowa) as well as other distant cousins, nieces, and nephews in Colorado and Iowa. Susie loved nature, animals, and dogs. She was a very kind and loving person, full of laughter, goodness, and fun to be around. Loved deeply by her family and friends, she will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
