Steven Douglas Brown

Steven Douglas Brown, age 71, passed away August 15, 2018 in Arvada, Colorado of a heart attack. Steve is survived by his wife, Dixie; Children Mike, Kara and Greg; Siblings Susie and Sherry. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Elmer and Bertha; Sibling, Greg; Children Deena, Derik and Dawn. Steve was born August 4, 1947 in Centerville, Iowa, to parents Elmer and Bertha. He graduated from Arvada West High School in 1965. Steve worked as a welder in the metal fabrication industry and after retiring founded a restaurant, Home Cookin Café, with his wife, Dixie and daughter, Deena. He was very involved with his family and friends. He is survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. His funeral is scheduled for August 30, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church 5675 Field St. Arvada, Co., 80002. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life with us. The family would like to thank everyone for the support and kind words extended over the last several days. A light lunch will be served following the service.
