Steven Brent Paulson

February 14, 1954 - September 1, 2014 With much sadness, Steven (Steve) B. Paulson, 60, passed away at his Colorado home on September 1, 2014. He was born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota on February 14, 1954 to Florence Jackson and the late Duane Paulson. Steve graduated from Western State Colorado University in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Much of his time was spent with family and friends. Steve loved to see a good action movie, go jogging, and watch professional football. You could always find Steve at the local festivals, most likely by the beer tent! He had a love for soccer and played for many years up until the age of 56. He especially enjoyed hiking with his daughters, Shannon and Jessie. In his early years when he first met his wife, Jill, he was a backpacking counselor in the Colorado Mountains. He worked for 20 years in the dairy industry and then for the past 11 years worked in the grocery industry and was most recently employed at Sprouts. He had a love for people and his genuine kindness to all will be remembered. He made friends everywhere he went. A sense of humor he definitely possessed--his wife can attest to that! He is survived by his Wife, Jill of 30 years and two beautiful Daughters, Shannon and Jessie, his Mother, Florence, Sister Linda, and Brothers Dale and Scott. Services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at: First United Methodist Church of Golden 1500 Ford Street Golden, CO 80401
