February 28, 1963 - January 28, 2013 Steve Jacques of Wheat Ridge passed away Monday January 28, 2013 at his home, he was 49 years old. He was born Feb. 28, 1963 in Reno, Nevada to Jean Jacques and the late Mary Jo Swanson Jacques. Steve served in the United States Navy on board the USS Kitty Hawk. He was an aircraft mechanic for United Airlines for more than 25 years. He loved swimming, watersking, fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, Corvette restoration, and all things Harley Davidson. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie; his Dad step mother, Jean Carol; sister and brother-in-law, Paula Ron Bonneau; his former wife, Sadika; and niece, Roz, many other relatives and friends also survive him. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5, from 5:00pm until the Rosary at 7:00pm at Crossroads Church of Denver Chapel, 9901 W. 50th Ave. Wheat Ridge. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 10:00 at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Naval Honors will be rendered at the graveside. Family and friends will assemble at Staging Area "A". Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home Colorado Crematory of Arvada.
