Silas C. Correa, 87, passed away March 13, 2017. Born in Omaha, Nebraska 4/27/1929 to Manuel Correa and Clara Belle Hunn. Preceded in death by siblings Grace Pearson and David Correa. Survived by his 5 children; Rebecca Storey, Winona Correa, Joel (Lori) Correa, Monaweka (Kelly) Vold and John (Daphne) Correa; 11 grand-children, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great, great, grandchildren. He served our country in the United States Navy for 4 years, August 1948 - July 1952. He was part of the One Million Man March in Washington D.C. for the Promise Keepers Rally on October 4th 1997, and presented the prayer from the steps of the Capitol. He was the Pastor of Indian Bible Church of Denver for more than 30 years. He traveled all over the United States and Canada ministering to Native American Indians. Memorial service will be held at Crossroads Church of Denver 9725 West 50th Avenue Wheatridge, Colorado at 3pm.
