March 15, 1934 - September 11, 2014 Shirley Mae Curry, 80, of Arvada passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 19, 2014, at 10 AM at Crossroads Church of Denver, 9901 West 50th Avenue (50th and Kipling), Wheat Ridge, followed by a reception at The Crossings Cafe located on the grounds of the church. Shirley is survived by her sister Carole Albers; children Craig Curry and Vickie Casady; grandchildren Madison Curry, Colton Casady, Cory Casady, and Connor Casady. Shirley worked for Denver Public Schools for over 35 years and had many interests, with Bridge as one of her favorite card games for gatherings. We appreciate the support, visits, prayers of family and friends. We are comforted that Shirley is now without pain.
