Sherri Horan (née Myers), 62, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away peacefully on August 10, 2017. Sherri is survived by her husband Barry Robert Knott, brother Michael Myers, son TJ Horan and daughter Dr. Erin Rescoe. She was preceded in death by her brother Dr. Phillip Myers and her parents Elinor Sue (née Kaplan) and Martin Irving Myers. Sherri was born on July 15, 1955 in Chicago. She earned a degree in Education from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois in 1976. She returned to live, work and volunteer in the Chicagoland area where she married Thomas Horan and raised her two children. Sherri later moved to Colorado with her husband Barry Robert Knott. She worked as an Educator with Developmentally Disabled Children and volunteered at local organizations for stroke patients and developmentally challenged kids. A celebration of her life, attended by close family and friends was held in Chicago on October 7, 2017.
