Sharon Peters was born in Miller, Missouri, to Curtis and Aletha Ruark. She went to be with Jesus on her 84th birthday.
Sharon loved to travel, ballroom dance, and she loved beautiful things. She married Robert King in 1961, and they had two children, Kara and Curtis. After working as a secretary at Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha, Nebraska, for several years, she began a long career in network marketing, starting with Mary Kay and eventually building a successful organization in the healthcare products industry.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gerald Ruark, her husband, Albert Peters, and her son, Curtis King. She is survived by her daughter, Kara Bohannon, and her beloved grandchildren, Patrick and Anna Bohannon.
A memorial service will honor Sharon at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Arvada Covenant Church, 5555 Ward Road, Arvada, Colorado 80002. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome for the Benevolent Fund, in memory of Sharon Peters, to above address or online at arvadacovenant.org/give.
