Shanon Nicole Arnst Henderson

Shanon Nicole Arnst Henderson, born in Denver on February 26, 1969, aged 46, passed away on October 4, 2015 at Lutheran Memorial Hospital, Wheat Ridge, CO. Shanon will be dearly missed, more than words can express, by all who knew and loved her. She was a confident and vibrant woman with a large personality. She loved to laugh, was kind, loving and enjoyed spending time with her children and family. Shanon was a graduate from Green Mountain High School, Lakewood, Co in 1987.  She was a beautiful woman and enjoyed a modeling career in her teens, becoming Miss Hawaiian Tropic and Miss Teen Southwest, Colorado, along with numerous other competitions.  She eventually became a Hair Stylist and had her own Salon.  She was a brilliant stylist with many customers and friends who will greatly miss her. Shanon is survived by her husband and her best friend, Jeffery Henderson, her children, Taylor Henderson, 21 and Hunter Henderson, 15, all of Arvada, CO, her father, Don Arnst, Westminster, Co, mother, Gayle Arnst Graf, Greeley, CO, sister Wendy Arnst Bailey, Greeley, CO., Stepbrothers Dustin Graf, Palm Springs, CA and Doug Graf, Surprise, Arizona and her Mother-in-Law, Barb Henderson, Arvada, Co. Sister and brother-in-law Stacy and Greg Miller and 2 nieces Mandie and Trisha.  She was preceeded in death by her Stepfather, Joel Graf, Greeley, CO and Father-in-Law, Ron Henderson, Arvada, CO. Though her family are inconsolable in their grief, they have strength, each other and their faith that Our Lord will be with them and they know that Shanon is forever in His embrace. A Memorial service will be Saturday, October 17th.  2:00 pm at Jeffery and Shanon's home.
