After a courageous 19 month battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer, Scott James Chiesa, 49, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on the morning of October 27, 2024. Scott was known for his bright smile, infectious laugh and sense of humor.
He enjoyed the outdoors, snowboarding, biking, hunting, camping, and playing tennis. He didn't miss a day at his Crossfit gym. Scott's biggest love though, was his family. His parents, James and Janet Chiesa, sisters Stacy (Joel) Stiverson, Suzanne (Aaron) Turner, and Stephanie (Tony) Caleca, and nieces and nephews Ian and Joshua Stiverson, Max, Molly and Maggie Turner, and Nick and Zachary Caleca. Scott married his loving wife, Dru, in 2013, and his beloved daughter, Sophia, was born in 2015. She was his heart. When Sophia was 6 months old, Scott decided to step back from his job as a landman, to stay at home with her and the two of them were inseparable, along with his favorite dog, Elly.
It is hard to imagine life without Scott, his sense of humor, his smile that could light up a room, and the fun and laughs he brought to all occasion's.
