March 9, 1935 - January 4, 2015 Sandra Joan (Bonicamp) Duncan, 79, of Centennial, CO died on January 4th, 2015 at the Cherrelyn Healthcare Center where she had resided since late 2012. She was a loving wife and mother and a good friend to very many people both near and far away. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Robert S. Duncan who passed away on July 4th, 2014 as well as her parents Delbert and Edythe Bonicamp. Also preceding her in death were her 2 wonderful aunts Vivienne and Mildred Montgomery of Enid, OK. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Greg and Teresa Duncan of Littleton, CO and their 2 daughters Ashley and Katelyn Duncan, her youngest son Robert F. Duncan and his wife Melissa and their 2 children Lauren and Ryan of Pearland, TX. as well as her dear cousin Aileen Moore of Dublin, TX and her husband John. Sandra was born March 9th, 1935 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Delbert and Edythe and resided there until they moved to Wichita, Kansas where she grew up and went to school. She attended Roosevelt Jr. High in Wichita and graduated from East High school there in 1953. Upon graduating she then attended Wichita State University where she recieved her teaching degree in 1957. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority while attending WSU and was very active in it for many years afterwards. Sandra taught 2nd grade at McConnell Air Force base in Wichita as well as at Eureka Grade school in Eureka, KS. She was married 2 times once to Donald Wilson whom she met at Wichita State University and had with him her oldest son Greg. She married Robert Duncan in June of 1967 in Wichita after being introduced to him thru her good friends Jack and Joyce Glimpse. After her 2nd marriage she and Robert and Greg resided in Eureka, KS. where Robert was from for 6 years and had her 2nd son Robert F. Duncan in 1971. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Littleton, CO. where they remained to this day. Sandra had a passion for teaching children as well as being a good friend to many people. She always was a welcoming host for many occasions at her and Roberts household and was a very active Bridge player and belonged to many Bridge clubs over the years. She will be missed very much by her family and friends but she is in a better place now and has been reunited with her parents and the husband she so much loved for 47 years. A Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held January 9, 2015, at her favorite restaurant “The Shack” in Littleton, Colorado
