Samuel Richard Gomez November 18,1937 - December 26, 2022

Samuel Richard Gomez passed away on Monday December 26, 2022 at Gardens Care Assisted Living and Memory Care where he resided since July, 2022. He was 85 years old.

Samuel was born in Alamosa, Colorado, born to Samuel and Cora Gomez of Alamosa. He grew up in Denver and graduated from North High School. He married Beverly Van Bebber in June of 1956. They raised five children and divorced in 2015. He was a proud teamster and drove a truck for most of his career.

He enjoyed living on the road in his RV and spent five years in New Mexico as a camp host. Samuel loved meeting new people, painting, Mexican food and exploring his Navajo roots. He was humorous and never complained about his health.

He is proceeded in death by his Son Paul Gomez, his parents, and his ex-wife Beverly. He is survived by his children Richard Gomez, Diane Mills (William), Robert Gomez (Lisa), Rodney Gomez and sisters Geraldine Maes (Raoul), Debra Bull (Scott) and Grandchildren, Jennifer, Richard, Matthew, Greg, Spencer, Margaret, Caroline, Nicole, Brandon, Casey, Kayla, Stephanie, Jacob and seventeen Great Grandchildren.
