Ryan, a loving husband, son, brother, uncles and friend to many, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 14, 2023.
Ryan was born in Mankato, Minnesota to John and Paula Lubitz. Ryan was the second of four children. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder where he received a degree in Business Administration. Ryan spent his career working in the Denver area as a corporate recruiter for Sports Authority, Danone and Wrench Group. His colleagues and friends described him as kind, ethical and sweet person. His family also saw his caring side as he was caregiver for his disabled wife for 18 years.
Ryan enjoyed snowboarding, hiking, camping and working out at the local gym.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents- Patricia and Cleo McCreary, Howard and Mary Lubitz, step-grandmother Marlene Lubitz and niece Emerly Lubitz-Tole.
Ryan is survived by his wife Adrienne; parents Paula and John Lubitz; brother Joshua and Rhyann (Shaw), niece Madison; brother Reis and Briana (Markel), nieces Jacklyn and Dyana; Sister Chelsey and Jeremy Tole; in-laws Jeff and Meg DeLoe; sister-in-law Sara and Cliff Lightning; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Lubitz family will honor Ryan with a private Celebration of Life on his birthday, May 31, 2023.
