Ryan Mathew Pohlenz

Ryan Mathew Pohlenz, Son of Mark Pohlenz and Julie Drury, entered into life November 8th, 1985, and entered into eternal life October 2nd, 2024, to suicide.

Ryan was a loving, caring soul with dutiful vigilance, passionate understanding, and an unwavering love and support. He always brought a smile to everyone's face with his humor, kindness and generosity. Ryan was a highly talented and hardworking man. He enjoyed baseball (throwing a blazing fastball up to 98 MPH), painting, writing poetry, baking, and cooking. 

Ryan was an electrician and was the CEO of Colorado Clearwater Ponds. He loved his work, you can see examples of his creations on his website, Colorado Clearwater Ponds. 

He is survived by Gayla Pohlenz (spouse), Shawn Prather (stepson), Mark Pohlenz (father), Julie Drury (mother), Roy Drury (step father), Lyndsey Pohlenz (sister), Tamara Pohlenz (sister), and Jennifer Pohlenz (sister), Bill Pohlenz (grandfather), and many aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Ryan was preceded in death by Shera Pohlenz (sister), Jarrett Leigh (grandmother), Marti Pohlenz (stepmother), Merlene Pohlenz (grandmother), Robert Briscoe (father-in-law) and Beverly "Judy" Briscoe (mother-in-law).
