May 9, 1936 - October 5, 2011 75, passed October 5, 2011, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He grew up in Ternitz, Austria, a small town about sixty miles south of Vienna nestled close to the mountains. After a visit to Denver among other worldly travels, he knew exactly where he wanted to live because it was so much like his home in Austria. He wore many hats in his lifetime...soccer player and coach...a hog farmer out in Brighton..a building contractor...a master gardener and advisor for the nuns at St. Anthony Central Hospital..a meat cutter and inspector...and extraordinary chef. Most of all people will remember him for his generosity and his willingness to freely share his time, knowledge, energy, and simply good food with whomever needed it. His passion for music, dancing, and the joys of life are best expressed in the thoughts to...Live Simply...Love Truly...and Laugh Freely.
