Rosemary W. Mapps

March 29, 1931 — December 15, 2020

Rosemary W. Mapps passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2020. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and Joseph Irvine, her sisters, Molly Mustard, Belle Stahl, Zelda Gravelle, her brothers Bud and John Irvine and her husband, Barton Mapps. She is survived by sisters Janet Irvine, Nancy Morris and Nona LaNier, her children Reinhold Haase (Dusty), Laura Haase (Robert Pratt), Eric Mapps, and Bart Mapps (Donna.) She was the proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren Bryan Haase, Aaron Haase, Jason Haase, Haas Pratt, Steve Pratt, Lance Kercher-Pratt, Griffee Mapps and Katalina Mapps and 12 great grandchildren. Rosemary was born in Denver and lived in Wheat Ridge since 1961. She enjoyed her time with family and friends with hobbies including bowling, playing cards, cooking and baking, creating wedding and special event cakes, reading and watching sports. She was an avid and knowledgeable baseball fan, supporting sons and grandsons in youth, high school, college and professional baseball. She held several career positions at Sunstrand, Coors, and Wheat Ridge High School and was actively involved in bowling leagues, PTAs, the Red Hat Society and her community widow’s club. She took most joy in spending time with her family, summer fun in her pool and celebrating special family events. She is loved and will be missed by family and friends alike.
