May 9, 1916 - April 29, 2013 96, passed away in Arvada, Colorado, April 29, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband John Broadbent, and sisters Agnes Lukas and Hatie Lawrence. Rose is survived by daughter Agnes Folbigg, grandchildren Sue Folbigg, Mike Folbigg, and Regina Ferraiuolo; great grandchildren Jason and Lindsay Folbigg, Jenifer, Andrew, and Melissa Folbigg, and two great great grandchildren; sister Katie Borkowski; and dog Kali. Rose loved crafts, sewing, crocheting, canning, and gardening. She was a factory worker for Chrysler. When she was a young child, she helped her daddy with his "still" making moonshine, and she often shared stories of her "bootlegging" days. Services for Rose will be held on May 3, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. at Shrine of St. Anne Catholic Church in Arvada, followed by interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shrine of St. Anne Catholic Church or to Senior Resource Center, 3227 Chase Street, Denver, CO.
