January 23, 1940 - April 28, 2014 Roger Leon Olsen of Thornton, Colorado passed away April 28, 2014. He was 74 years old. Roger was born January 23, 1940 in Goodland, Kansas to George Allen and Ruby Lucille Olsen. He was preceded by his parents and brother, Ronnie Olsen. Roger is survived by his children, Shawn Olsen and Michelle (Shelley) Johnson, four grandchildren; Shawna, Sammi, Rich and Lexi, sister; Ann Duvall and pets Paco and Belle. Roger enjoyed home building and remodeling as a General Contractor, owning and restoring cars, especially hot rods, shooting his shotguns, photography, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. Roger's memorial service will be held Monday May 5, 2014, 11:00am at Crossroads Chapel, 9901 W. 50th Ave. Wheat Ridge, CO (50th Kipling).
