Rodney (Rod) Pistora

Rodney Dee Pistora (Rod) was born on October 3, 1959, in Ellsworth, Kansas. In 1966 the family moved to McPherson, Kansas where he attended McPherson High School and graduated in the Class of ‘77. He briefly attended Wichita University before moving in the 1980's to Arvada, Colorado where he lived until his natural passing in December 2022.

Rod was a loving man whose adoration and generosity had no bounds. He was succeeded in death by his father, eldest brother, his mother, and his wife, Dorothy Marquardt with whom he is now forever together at rest . He and Dorothy built a loving home and shared a wonderful life with their grandkids leaving many childhood memories that they will always cherish.

Rodney was a son, a brother, and a father to his grandchildren, and a loving great grandfather. He was a close friend to many who had the good fortune of getting to know him. His family will forever remember him for his stories, his laughs that he shared, and for his never leaving anything undone. He was a loving caregiver, and an honest hardworking man.
