Rodney Louis Mitchell

Rodney Louis Mitchell Feb. 2, 1948 - Mar. 10, 2018 70yrs. Old Born and raised in North Denver. He had many jobs in his life but found his calling as a Stagehand where he flourished and became a well known and very respected member of Local 7 Denver Theatrical Stage Employees. Among the things that he loved was his passion for all things Sports, But he loved his Yankees and Broncos most of all. Later in life he found his love of motorcycle riding and jumped in to it with both feet and never looked back. It truly made him happy to be out on his bike and riding with his family and friends. But absolutely nothing was more important to Rodney than his family and friends, especially his wife Sandy and his grandsons. He leaves behind his Wife & best friend Sandy. His sons Derek (Kelly) & Jason (Destynee). His brothers Ricky & Randy His sisters Dee & Carol He was pre-deceased by his Father “Butch”, his mother Dorothy and a sister Debbie. His grandsons Jake, Cale, Bradyn & Derek. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends whom he loved very dearly. Memorial Services will be Saturday March 24, 2018 at the VFW Post 501 4747 W Colfax Ave, Denver Colorado
