July 17, 1948 ~ March 12, 2015 Robert "Bob" Hoffman died in his home of 57 years in Denver CO.  He was born in New London, WI the first son of Robert Louis Hoffman and Julie Mae Hoffman on July 17th 1948. He met his wife Nancy Jo at Ranum High School in Westminster and he said he always knew from the moment he saw her she was the "one" They were married 5 days after she graduated on May 29, 1968. He was the beloved father to Maria "Truly" Hoffman-Stack and Robert Daniel Hoffman. He is survived by his brother Daniel Hoffman and his sister Lisa Teedsdale. He was also a very proud grandfather of 5 to Genevieve Schendel, Sydney Froncek, McKenna Froncek, Noah Hoffman and Tayler Stack.    Always wanting to help people, he was an officer and then later a detective of the Glendale Police Dept retiring in 1982. He later went on to work for another 20 years in Central City doing surveillance for many of the mountain casinos. He had a great love for ancient Egyptian Art and loved searching out new treasures to display in his home. Always a true American he loved his country and would never miss a chance to talk politics or gun laws with anyone willing to listen. Everyone who knew Bob, knew his contagious laugh and love for his family. He will be greatly missed.   Services will be held at Crossroads Church on Monday, March 16th 2015.  9725 W 50th Ave Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Viewing will be at noon with funeral service to follow at 1 Pm. Afterwords the family would like to invite everyone to the family home located 7221 Kalamath St. Denver CO 80221. On Tuesday we will lay him to rest in the family plot at his granddaughters Genevieve Schendel's home in Calhan CO, 11615 Oil Well Rd. around 2 pm.
