Robert P. (Robby) Douglass of Arvada died unexpectedly at home on March 15th, 2021. He was 69. Born Jan. 24th, 1952 in Rapid City, S.D. the son of Robert and Erma Jean Douglass, he married Mary Lapp in Loveland, Colorado in 1975. He was an amazing drummer and enjoyed being in numerous bands incl: Centerpeace, Alias, and Burns Twice. Robb worked 16 years in sales at George T. Sanders among many wonderful coworkers and customers. He was known for his passion as a season ticket holder Broncos fan / "candy man" at the games. Also played tennis and league bowling. Robb is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary, sister Lori (Tom) Moss, mother-in-law Alice Lapp, & brother-in-law Mitch (Kathy) Lapp. Nieces Kristin, Jennifer, and Christy. Great nieces Emmerson, Brooke, Amber, Jade and great nephews Gunnar & Dylan. Countless friends and cats. Preceded in death by his parents Bob and Erma Jean Douglass. There was cremation. A memorial party will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. His larger-than-life personality will be missed by all.
