December 6, 1949 - June 24, 2013 1949-2013 Robert “Bob” Jay Nikkel, 63, of Arvada, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Collier Hospice on Monday, June 24, 13. He is survived by his wife, Shawn Nikkel; 7 children (Heather, Ryan, Nathan, Rachel, Nicole, Chad, Tyler), 10 grandchildren (Liam, Connor, Alysia, Xander, Taylor, Daxton, Tucker, Beckett, Maelle, and Kenzie); and 3 siblings (Roberta, Sandra, and Sara). Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Eleanor, and grandson, Aiden. Bob was passionate about and skilled at helping others reach personal and professional health. He had a long and distinguished career as a Master Herbalist. He will be greatly missed by his community, his friends, and his family. Memorial services will be held at 10am on Thursday, 6/27-Crossroads Church 9901 W. 50th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, followed by a luncheon and a celebration of Bob's life at Kendrick Cottage-5414 Kendrick Ct., Golden CO.
