Robert Henry Avila

Robert Henry Avila was born to Henry L. Avila and A. Luz (Lucy) Fresquez on February 8, 1971 in Las Vegas NV. Robert passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Westminster CO. He is survived by his wife, Claudia (Jimenez) Avila, his daughter Natasha Avila, and his son Ariel Ortiz, all of Las Vegas NV. At the time of his death, he was reconnecting with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins at a Family Reunion in Westminster CO. Having been estranged from most of them for a number of years, this was a true homecoming where he was surrounded by unconditional love. Robert's priority was to be the best provider he could be to Claudia, and especially to his daughter, Natasha. Despite the distance between them following their separation, Claudia says no day passed without his calling Natasha to encourage her in her studies, touch base with her activities, and pray with her before bedtime. Robert credited many people during his lifetime who were instrumental in giving him wise counsel and in return many received great support from him. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
