March 13, 1933 - September 3, 2012 Robert Glenn Thompson passed away September 3, 2012 due to complications of kidney disease. He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas and joined the military after high school. He retired from the Air Force in 1972 then worked as a Water Quality Control Technician for the City of Aurora. Bob loved to read, travel, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Frances; children, Beverly, Cynthia, Debra; grandchildren, Nancy, Joshua, Kayla, Steven, Robert, Katherine; and great grandson, David. He is preceded in death by parents, Walter Mamie and brother, Howard. Funeral Services are scheduled 2:30pm Thursday, September 13, 2012 Fort Logan National Cemetery. (Denver, Colorado).
