Richard Frank Palik, the life of the party and eternal optimist, danced his way into the arms of our Lord.

Jesus Christ on February 1, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on June 20, 1948, to Adalena Marie and Donald

Robert Palik in sunny Los Angeles, California, Richard brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

Richard's journey of love and laughter began when he married his soulmate, Charlotte Marie Palik, on

November 20, 1971. Together, they embarked on a grand adventure, settling in Colorado in 1972 were.

they taught their children a love of the great outdoors by taking them hiking and skiing regularly.  Their

love story blossomed into a beautiful family of six, filled with endless love and cherished memories.

As a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend, Richard's heart knew no bounds.

He poured his boundless energy into being an incredible father to his four children: Tanya, David,

Bradley, and Christopher. Their Colorado home echoed with laughter, love, and the occasional

touchdown as Richard rallied the troops for a spirited game of touch football and backyard games on

Sundays after church.

Richard's passion for life and love of the Lord was infectious. He wore many hats with grace and humor,

whether he was serving as a counselor, comforter, or a prayer warrior. His generosity knew no bounds,

and his door was always open to anyone in need of a safe harbor. A true Coloradoan at heart, Richard

reveled in the joy of helping others, especially during snowstorms when he'd gallantly rescue stranded.

A mastermind of mischief and love of fun, Richard's antics kept everyone on their toes. His love for

music and sports knew no bounds, and his knack for finding humor in the most challenging situations.

In Richard's reunion with his beloved Charlotte, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and

boundless joy. He is survived by his children, Tanya and her husband Robert, with their children.

Mackenzie, Maxwell, Carter, and Camden; David; Bradley and his wife Heidi, with their children Zachary,

Malorie, Landon, and Alexis; Christopher and his wife Lyndsey, with their children Coleton, Cooper,

Calvin, and Blakely; all of whom will carry on his legacy of love and laughter. He is also survived by his

siblings Mary Jo Miller and Terry Zahn.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Marie Palik, his father Donald Robert

Palik, his mother, Adalena Marie Toof, and his sister Shirley Jean Palik.

As we bid farewell to our dear Richard, let us celebrate his remarkable life and the countless lives he

touched with his unwavering love, infectious laughter, and unbeatable spirit. Though he may have


danced his way into the heavens, his joyful spirit will forever dance in our hearts. Cheers to you, Richard,

our eternal ray of sunshine.
