Ricardo Ramirez, 61 of Denver, Colorado who was born on October 23, 1961 to Rebecca Gutierrez and Joseph Ramirez. Ricardo passed away on June 11th 2022 at Lutheran Hospital. Ricardo served in the military in the Army branch. Even though he did not speak much about his time in the military, he was a proud Veteran. His time in the military taught him many qualities he upheld in his everyday life. He was hard working, honest and respectful. Those qualities along with so many more made him the man he was. Ricardo worked at Denver Health Hospital for over 20 years as a supervisor for environmental services. People that worked for him and worked with him admired his work ethic and how they could rely on him. He was known for his sense of humor and giving people a hard time, so he could have a good laugh. If you knew Ricardo then you knew he loved sports, music and of course his family. During football season he would be watching every game he could possibly watch. That meant football all day Sunday, Monday and Thursday night. Even on Saturdays he would be watching College football. But, of course his true passion was for his favorite team the Denver Broncos! Ricardo had a love for all types of music, he loved music so much that he would have a bluetooth speaker in each room of the house and one outside for when he was enjoying his time in his backyard. Family was the utmost important thing in Ricardo’s life. There was nothing that he wouldn’t do for his family. He was always just a phone call away. Even if he was mad at you and you needed help he would be there for you if you needed him to be. He was loving, caring and giving. Ricardo was preceded in death by both of his parents: Rebecca and Joseph. His older brother Joe, his older sister Regina and his two younger sisters, Marlena and Victoria. He is survived by his wife Yolanda, his two daughters, Ambrosia and Mia. His younger brothers, Mark and Paul and his sister Dennene. Ricardo is going to be deeply missed by his family and friends. The love he left behind will never be forgotten. Viewing Day will be held on June 30th at St. Paul’s Community Church from 12:15pm to 1:30pm following after there will be a Military memorial at Fort Logan Cemetery at 2:15pm.
