July 9, 1943 - October 24, 2012 Raymond "Mike" Ortega, 69 of Denver, Colorado, passed away on October 24, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Isla Ortega; children, Raymond (Cathy), Beatrice (Joe), Gary (Tina), Penny (Dale) and Paul; grandchildren Eulalia (Rick), Ray Ray, Janessa, Bernice, and Consuela (Frank); and sisters Helen and Sandra; grandchildren, Antesa (Juan), Isa, Barbie, Selena (Chris), Jimmy (Diana), Anthony (Brittany), and Angie; 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Ida Ortega and grandson Geranimo. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, November 2 at St. Cajetan Catholic Church, 299 South Raleigh Street, Denver, CO 80219 at 10:00 am.
