March 2, 1926 - October 12, 2012 Ralph W. Neuenkirk will be sadly missed by his loving family. He is survived by his daughter Carol, son Larry, grandchildren Amy, Aaron, and Eric; great-granddaughter Allison, and sisters Minerva and Wanda. He was preceded in death by his wife June. Ralph was born in Lamont, Iowa, one of seven children, and grew up in McGregor, Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He and his wife moved to Colorado in 1950, and he eventually went to work for the Climax Molybdenum Company in 1953 and worked in the tungsten plant there for 33 years. He lived in Climax, CO for 8 years and in Leadville, CO for over 50 years. In life he was our angel--totally devoted to his family. His absence has left a giant void in our lives.
