Phyllis Ellen Kucera

Phyllis Ellen Kucera of Arvada Colorado died peacefully on December 29th, 2018. She was 79 years old. She was born August 21st, 1939 in Cody Wyoming to George and Gladys Weymouth. She married Victor Henry Kucera on June 1st, 1970 in Kansas City Missouri. Phyllis enjoyed successful careers in cosmetology, modeling and as a pharmacy technician at Broomfield Drug Store. She retired in 1989 to spend time with and care for her grandchildren . She was an avid reader; always loved a good mystery novel, enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family including her 4- legged family. You could always count on her to lend an ear and offer words of wisdom and advice. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will certainly live on in the lives of her family. To know her was to love her. She is survived by 1 sister Donna Shaw (Jack Shaw) of Milan Missouri, 2 daughters, Angela Polson (Jim Ziemba) of Arvada, Colorado and Cara Selep (Tony Selep) of Lake in the Hills, Illinois; and 1 son Christian Kucera (Jodi Kucera) of Yuma Colorado; 4 granddaughters Kristen Polson, Brittany Polson, Elizabeth Kucera and McKenzie Kucera.
