Philip C Engdahl

Philip C. Engdahl passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Mr. Engdahl was born August 10, 1951 in Madison, Wisconsin to H. Claire and Lilla E. (Hall) Engdahl. In high school, Phil participated in marching band and track. Graduating from Arvada High School in 1969. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in organic chemistry from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Due to many health problems, Phil retired from Colorado Serum Company. Phil was able to pursue his hobbies of model railroads HO scale and tropical fish. Phil is survived by a brother Blaine A. (Jill) Engdahl of Arvada, Colorado; sisters Kyla B. Engdahl of Grand Island, Nebraska and Lynnae E. (Gerald) Boyd of Granby, Colorado; nieces Amanda and Alyssa Engdahl and Elizabeth Carlson and Tom Vanderpool special friend; great niece Hannalynn Engdahl. Phil is preceded in death by his parents.
