Pete "E.R." Gray

September 5, 1924 ~ December 15, 2015 Pete "E.R." Gray went to join his beloved wife Barbara on Dec 15 2015. He passed away at his home in Arvada Co. after his long battle with Parkinson's disease.  Pete was born on Sept. 5, 1924 and was raised in Omaha Nebraska. He left to join his fellow soldiers in World War II at 18. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and for a short time in the Korean War.  After returning from the war He married Barbara Clifton and began a career in newspapers. They moved to Colorado in 1960. After leaving the Rocky Mt News, Pete and Barbra bought the Miniature Merchant where  He quickly became a crafter of dollhouses. Driving school buses, and conducting tours of the Denver Post filled his later years. Always active he loved to travel and explore his love of the Rocky Mountains. Pete is survived by his children Myra and (John Shager), Sue and (John Kimball) and Mary Peterson, Grandchildren: Paul Bognar, Greg Bognar, Matthew Bognar Jennifer  Emmerich and Eric Kimball. He also had 10 great-grandkids. Sister in-law Beverly Hill.  Pete will truly be missed by his family and many wonderful friends. His celebration of his life will be Monday Dec 28th at 10:00am. The Crossing church at 3501 W. 104th Westminster. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to The Parkinson's Foundation, at www.parkinsonrockies.org
