Peggy M. Frymire, 87, a lifelong resident of Montoursville, Pennsylvania, and most recently Arvada, Colorado, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Born in Williamsport, she was the daughter of G. Lewis Muffley and N. Ruth Tenney Muffley. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Dorance (Sonny) Frymire, who died in 2014. Peggy was a long-time member of the East End C&MA Church, which was founded by her grandfather, and the Greenview Alliance Church, where she was awarded a plaque for 85 years of service upon her departure from Montoursville. Peggy was a graduate of Williamsport High School, Class of 1948, and was class Historian and part of the committee for all Class of 1948 reunions. Peggy was skilled in shorthand and worked as a secretary at several companies, including Sylvania in Montoursville, until her daughter’s birth in 1955. She was active in the PTA, fundraising projects, such as January Jitters productions, Loyalsock Township Band Parents, and Lioness/Lion’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, Bible studies, bus trips with her many friends, being Mrs. Claus while her late husband played Santa for 50 years, and most of all, being with her family. Surviving are a daughter Sandy (Jeff) Patton of Arvada, Colorado; a son Gary (Joann) Frymire of Williston, Vermont; her grandchildren, Stephen (Bridget) Frymire of Clifton Park, New York, Greg (Devon) Patton of Lakewood, Colorado, Erin Frymire of Windsor, Connecticut, and Michelle Patton of Arvada, Colorado; her great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Paige and Julia Frymire and Blake Patton; and a brother, Ron (Naila) Muffley in Colorado Springs. A gathering to celebrate Peggy’s life was held on Wednesday, July 11, at the Springwood Retirement Community in Arvada, Colorado, where she resided. It was attended by family and her many new friends
