October 29, 1927 - July 20, 2012 84, passed away on July 20, 2012 in Parker, CO; he was 84. Paul was born October 29, 1927 in West Portal, CO to Joseph and Mary Hoedel, and lived most of his life in Colorado. In 1948 Paul married Nellie Marie Jenkins, and they had 4 children. Paul worked as a miner for much of his life until settling into a maintenance position with Boulder County. Paul retired from the County in 1989. Paul is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, and his siblings Bertha, Josephine, Robert, and William. He is survived by his wife Nellie Hoedel; his children Gary (and wife Jeanie) Hoedel, Curtis Hoedel, Cynthia (and husband David) Goodlette, and his daughter Christine (and husband Phillip) Little. Paul is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at Unity of Boulder, 2855 Folsom Street (Valmont and Folsom) on Tuesday, July 24th at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Boulder.
