Patsy Crenshaw Applegate

Patsy Crenshaw Applegate 7/31/1939 - 3/15/2018 Patsy was born July 31, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to parents, Josiah and Dorothy Crenshaw. She passed away on March 15, 2018 after years of battling many health issues and chronic pain. Patsy attended Sylvan High in Atlanta where she met the love of her life, Frank Applegate. They married December 23, 1960 and moved to Arvada, Colorado in 1966, where they put down roots and raised their family. Patsy was loving mother to Tim (deceased 2007), Mike, Kathy (husband Jim, deceased 2016) and Scott (wife Janell). Treasured Nana to grandchildren, Brad, Rena, Jesse, Noah, Micah, Micayla, Ryan, Adam, Daniel, Marcus, Chayse, Chandlyr, Damion and twelve great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Joseph and Judy (deceased 2017). She also had many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. Patsy enjoyed traveling and was a travel agent for many years. She also enjoyed reading, shopping, being with family and friends, and had a love for history and baseball. Everyone that knew her will always remember her southern cooking, sharp wit, generosity, gentleness and her deep faith. Her memorial service will be held at Novation Church, 9051 Harlan St, Ste 10, Westminster, CO 80031 on Sunday, March 25th at 2:00 PM.
